Seated Dip Machine

 

This exercise works primarily your triceps but also engages your forearms, shoulders, chest and lower back.

  1. Sit securely in a dip machine.

  2. Select the weight and grasp the handles.

  3. Now keep your elbows in at your sides.

  4. The elbows should be bent at a 90 degree angle.

  5. Extend your arms downwards as you exhale.

  6. At the bottom of the movement, focus on keeping a little bend in your arms to keep tension on the triceps muscle.

  7. Now slowly let your arms come back up to the starting position as you inhale.

  8. Repeat for the recommended amount of repetitions.
