Side Lateral Raise

 

Stabilizers play an important role in all types of weightlifting. They take responsibility for keeping the joints stable with the surrounding muscle group.

  1. Sit down and position yourself with the right angle and the arms in the starting position on the machine

  2. Lift the weight to your side with a slight bend on the elbow and the hands slightly tilted forward.

  3. Continue to go up until you arms are parallel to the floor.

  4. Exhale as you execute this movement and pause for a second at the top.

  5. Lower the dumbbells back down slowly to the starting position as you inhale.

  6. Repeat for the recommended amount of repetitions.
